I am very proud to welcome you to Beardsley Junior High School for the 2026–2027 school year. BJHS is home to nearly 425 students in grades seven and eight. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to provide exceptional teaching grounded in best educational practices. Their commitment to student success is the foundation of all we achieve.

Beardsley Junior High School offers something for every student. In addition to our core subjects—English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Physical Education—we provide a wide array of engaging elective classes, including:

• Art – Students discover and develop their creative talents

• Band – Both beginning and symphonic levels

• Computer Application/Keyboarding 

• Choir and Music Appreciation

• Project Lead the Way (PLTW) – Design and Modeling (7th grade) and Automation & Robotics / Medical Detectives (8th grade), bringing hands-on STEM learning to BJHS

• Spanish-

• Journalism

Beyond the school day, BJHS students can also participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, including after-school sports, colorguard, and drum line.

Our mission is to educate and empower every student to be prepared for the world beyond Beardsley Junior High. The administration and staff maintain high expectations for both academics and behavior.
