What Are SUN Bucks?
SUN Bucks provides families with $120 for eligible children on an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card to buy groceries during the summer when school is out. SUN Bucks cards are accepted at locations where CalFresh EBT cards are accepted. Getting SUN Bucks does not affect your family’s immigration status.

Automatic Enrollment for SUN Bucks = Children who get CalFresh, CalWORKs, and/or Medi-Cal with income at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) will automatically get SUN Bucks.

Children not enrolled in any of the above programs will need to qualify by submitting a SUN Bucks Survey to school officials.

For SUN Bucks questions, families can contact the CDSS Customer Service center at 1-877-328-9677.

Why can I no longer apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)?
Due to a lack of additional funding from Congress, the ACP stopped accepting new applications as of February 7, 2024. The last fully funded month of the ACP was April 2024, and the program has ended for now. If Congress provides more funds for the ACP, the FCC will issue additional information.

When will my ACP benefit end?
The last fully funded month of the ACP was April 2024 and the program has ended for now. Contact your internet company if you have questions about your bill.
