Contract Period & Extensions
One-year agreement from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. This Agreement includes the option for Beardsley School District to extend the agreement for an additional three (3) one (1) year terms. Should the District elect to extend the Contract for an additional one (1) year term, the District will send correspondence to the Vendor(s) on or about two (2) months prior to the contract end date for each consecutive contract period. In no event will the contract be extended beyond June 30, 2031. The Vendor's pricing and rates as proposed in their response to this quote must remain firm through June 30, 2027. Any requested price increase during renewal periods must be submitted in writing no less than sixty (60) days prior to renewal and shall not exceed the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI-U), unless otherwise approved by the District.
The District may award multiple contracts if beneficial to the District for adequate availability, delivery, service, competition, pricing, product capabilities, or other factors deemed significant by the District. This notice of multiple awards does not preclude the District from awarding a single contract. The District may award a contract for parts of the Solicitation for which acceptable proposals have been received. The District may award all or none, if the evaluation shows an all or none award to be the most advantageous or in the best interest of the District.
The District reserves the right to award to the vendor(s) whose quote is determined to be the most responsive and responsible and in the best interest of the District, considering pricing, service capability, product quality, references, responsiveness, delivery performance, and overall value. If the District finds that another District has lower prices for linen and uniform products they are receiving from the awarded Vendor, the District reserves the right to reach out to the Vendor to negotiate for the lower prices. The District may negotiate for pricing on additional items not listed on this Request for Quotes. The District reserves the right to negotiate a final Contract(s) that is in the best interest of the District.
