Looking back at 2011…

Looking ahead to 2012…

Looking back at 2011, Beardsley School District has accomplished many things!

North Beardsley has continued to provide expanded services in reading and math for students needing that little bit of extra help.

San Lauren has hit its highest API score of 818 in the state rankings.  It continues to provide additional support in the areas of reading and math.

Beardsley Elementary continues to raise its state API score and provide extra help for students in Language Arts and Math.

Beardsley Junior High School hit its highest state API score ranking and continues to press on to meet this year’s challenge.

The District has continued to raise the API score over the last five years and raised its state API score by 25 points this year for a new high.  We continue to work to provide the best for our students.

Some special accomplishments across the district are:

1.   Make-A-Wish letter writing campaign to raise $1600 – BJHS

2.   Beardsley School Foundation – successful Carnival, Clay Shoot, and Golf Tournament (all funds support students at Beardsley)

3.   Camp KEEP for of our 6th graders

4.   Rabobank Grant of $15,000 for our Band

5.   High rankings for our band at various competitions

6.   Electrical project at BE

7.   Block wall project at NB

8.   Utility project at NB

As we look to 2012, we will continue to work hard in meeting the needs of our students academically.  We strive to provide opportunities for our students to grow in all areas.

We will meet the challenges of the state and federal mandates for academic growth.

We will meet the challenges of decreased funding and still provide the best for our children.

Our band program will continue to provide the opportunities for our students to shine across the community.

We will continue to be involved in community issues to support those less fortunate than ourselves.

We will continue to provide extra help for our students needing assistance in academic growth.

We look forward to the successes of our students for the year.

We look forward to another successful Camp KEEP trip for our sixth grades in the spring.

Great things have happened and will continue to happen here at Beardsley!

     Thanks for your support!
